Founded by Professor Dr. S. S. Tzeng in Taipei in 1973 and thereafter headed by Dr. Shen-I Lee, Dr. Carl K. M. Wu and Mr. Alex C. Y. Tsai, CHIEN YEH LAW OFFICES (the “Firm”) has been providing high quality and comprehensive legal services to our clientele for about 40 years. Current managing partner of the Firm’s Taipei and Taichung offices is Ms. Eleanor Y. Y. Chin, with Dr. Shen-I Lee as the Firm’s Managing Partner Emeritus. With nearly 100 staffs, the Firm has enjoyed continuous growth since its establishment.

Since its joint inception with Chien Yeh Certified Public Accountants, the Firm has been well known for its distinct capacity to provide clients with legal advisory services in a wide-range of commercial and industrial practice areas, including without limitation, accounting, taxation, investment, mergers and acquisitions, reorganization and Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) cases for both local and overseas companies.

With 40 years of experience and close collaborations with major Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) firms, the Firm strives for innovative and teamwork-oriented approach to problem solving and aims to offer an integrated, one-stop solution to our clients’ legal, commercial and accounting inquiries.

To better service our clients efficiently, in addition to having two offices in Taiwan, which are located in Taipei and Taichung, the Firm has also set up an office in Tokyo, Japan in 2017, known as the Chien Yeh Foreign Law Office. Over the years, the Firm has established close relationships with many law firms in the U.S., Japan and People’s Republic of China (“China”), including firms specialized in intellectual property practice or large commercial law firms that provide multidimensional services. The Firm will cooperate with overseas firms of different scales in order to meet the clients’ needs. In addition, the Firm has maintained close business contact with major law firms in England, Germany, France, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Republic of Mauritius, as well as close connections with multinational law firms. Thus, the Firm has formed a complete and worldwide legal services network, allowing us to provide our domestic and international clientele with comprehensive legal services of a global reach.

By working closely with strategic partners, the Firm provides comprehensive legal services involving fund raising in domestic and foreign securities markets, listing, cross-border investments, finance, financial insurance, securities, futures, trust, securities investment trust, funds, intellectual property rights as well as the same in emerging industries.
