COVID-19 and Employment Law – Key Points from PLG
When our Employment Law Mutual Interest Group was re-formed during our meetings in Seoul, South Korea last year, little did we know that there would be so many changes to employment law in so many jurisdictions in 2020.
COVID-19 has left governments across the world trying to keep up with a rapidly changing situation, needing to balance the needs of employers with the needs and rights of employees in an unprecedented fashion, trying to protect businesses and livelihoods.
Fifteen of our member firms have provided us with a short summary of what has changed in their jurisdiction, and how the situation currently stands. We believe the similarities and differences will be of interest to all.
